Two of CNQC’s Projects Win National High-quality Engineering Award
From December 10 to 12, the Conference on Exchange of Quality Management Experiences by Construction Enterprises 2016 was held in Xiamen, at which the first batch of national high-quality engineering award in 2016-2017 was awarded. Two of the projects undertaken by CNQC, Qingdao Subway Operation Control Center and Qingdao Ningxia Road Primary School, won the prize, and up to now, the company has won eleven such prizes for its outstanding work.
Qingdao Subway Operation Control Center, located at No. 6 Changning Road, Shibei District, Qingdao, gives support to No. 3 line contained in Qingdao railway traffic construction planning and is a comprehensive public building that integrates subway operation, emergency commanding, overall line network monitoring and office. The project officially commenced on September 30, 2013, and was accepted upon completion on May 22, 2015. It has won a few prizes and honors, including Safe and Civil Demonstration Construction Site in Shandong, High Quality Structure Engineering Award for Construction Works in Shandong, New Technology Application and Demonstration Projects in Construction Industry in Shandong, Safe and Civil Standard Construction Site of AAA Grade for China’s Construction Projects, Green Construction Demonstration Projects in China’s Construction Industry, Mount Tai Cup Award for Excellent Construction Quality in Shandong, Outstanding Design Award in Shandong, three utility model patents, and one construction method of provincial level in Shandong.
Qingdao Ningxia Road Primary School Construction project, located at No. 173 Ningxia Road, Shinan District, Qingdao, is one of the key projects of 2014 in Qingdao as well as the only elementary education school that has the three-star green building—— the standard determined by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of P.R.C. which has organized a few meetings to discuss the schemes and construction drawing design of the project. The construction of the project commenced from July 11, 2014, and was completed on May 16, 2015. It has got a few prizes including High Quality Structure Award in Qingdao, High Quality Structure Award for Construction Works in Shandong, Safe and Civil Construction Site in Qingdao, Safe and Civil Demonstration Construction Site in Shandong, Second Prize in National QC Activity, and one construction method of provincial level in Shandong. The project has received favorable response from all walks of society. The Energy Saving Department under Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development has paid a few visits to it.
